Hello Friends and Family! 

First let me say so sorry for such a late update. I have been extremely busy with all kinds of fun things this summer. I last wrote in June and since then, I have been to Utah with my daughters for the weekend and went to a Zumba Toning Workshop and got licensed to teach this form of Zumba Workout. It was amazing and very intense. Zumba Toning is another style of Zumba using Toning sticks that when you shake them they sound like Maracas. Very fun, exciting and ingenious way of toning the body and getting an all body workout infused with Zumba dance and fitness workout. Also in July I was subbing for another Zumba instructor as she was ill for a couple weeks and that kept me busy. My oldest daughter was here for the summer and my brother came to visit for a couple weeks as well. I took some time off from working out regularly and doing the P90X as my husband worked more weeks this summer than usual and family and Zumba kept me busy. I can feel the difference when I don’t work out regularly but I still taught class twice a week and walked when I can. I also played softball every week until 2 weeks ago. I am headed to Florida for a Zumba Instructor Convention and I’m so excited. I will be going to learn more about the Zumba business and getting licensed to teach Zumbatonic ( Zumba for kids) and Zumba Basic2 ( other style of Zumba dance & fitness). Also, lots of fun workshops to help me with Zumba. I will try to take pictures and post them as soon as I can. My children will be headed back to school and this will help me focus back on my weekly workouts and doing P90X with my husband. As I said before in my Bio, I take some time off in the summer to enjoy life with the family and start working out in the fall. I’m ready to get back on schedule as I have been cheating more than usual with eating. I been on an ice cream cone kick all summer and I enjoyed every minute of it! LOL… alright I gained 3-4lbs this whole summer which is fine. I do it every summer since I have been working out. I get back on my 4-5 weekly workouts and within a couple weeks it’s gone. That’s all fat weight so, I will gain a few muscle weight before I lose that but, it all works itself out sooner than later. It’s been almost 3 years since I changed my diet, and began exercising regularly and am able to have these cheating summer months. So, get on the fit wagon, get off your tush and start making a change. If I can do it so can you! Join a gym, get a partner, buy some tapes, find a support group or just contact me, and I can get you started to a happier you and live longer! AS always, Empower yourself and get fit!!!
